Document Summarization Tool
You can now have a summary of your recording included at the beginning of your document so that you can quickly and easily view the highpoints, without having to read through the entire transcript.
What is a document summary?
The document summary is an AI generated summary of the key points of the document. You will still receive your complete typed document created by our live, human typist, but in addition, you will see a summary at the beginning of your document that features key bullet points from your recording.
How does it work?
When uploading your audio for transcription on the web or through the app, just check the “Include Summary” option
Your audio will still be completely transcribed by our trained and qualified SpeakWrite typists, but in addition, the audio will be sent through an AI platform that will provide a summary of the content.
This will help you view at a glance the high points of the document without having to read through pages of content before you’re ready.
What is the cost of a document summary?
The wordcount of the document summary is added to the total wordcount of the typed document and billed at the per word rate. So if your job is single-speaker, you will be charge for the wordcount of the typed document plus the wordcount of the summary at the rate of 1 ½ cents per word. If it is a mutli-speaker job, you will be charged at the rate of 2 ¼ cents per word.
