Follow these steps to get you started in the mobile app
We are here to help you get started with SpeakWrite. If you encounter any problems, just email us at support@speakwrite.com
Step 1. Download app
The SpeakWrite app is free and available on your smart device.
Scan the QR code or click the button below to download the SpeakWrite app.
Step 2. Sign Up
In the SpeakWrite app, tap “Sign Up”, and complete the form.
A welcome email will be sent to you shortly.
Was your account created by someone else? In the welcome email, set your password by tapping “Set / Reset your password”.
Step 3. Log In
Log in to the SpeakWrite app with your username and password.
Tap “Remember Me” for faster login.
Step 4. Record Audio
Tap the large microphone button to begin recording audio.
The sound bar indicator will animate, confirming your audio is being captured.
Step 5. Finish Recording
Tap the large pause button at any time to pause or stop recording.
The “Submit” button will then appear.
Step 6. Submit Audio
When you are done recording, tap “Submit” to continue.
Do not worry, you have a chance to review everything on the next form.
A “Custom Filename” popup will appear, giving you the chance provide a name for your completed document.
Step 7. Customize
Select custom options, update filename, and review everything before your final submission.
Step 8. Final Submit
When you are all set, tap “Submit”.
You will receive a confirmation email shortly.
9. You’re Done!
You have successfully completed your first SpeakWrite submission.
Your audio recording will immediately enter the queue to be assigned to a trained professional SpeakWrite typist.
Your completed document will be delievered to your email as a Word document in about 3 hours.
